Quality Pet Care
Barb has been serving the Leavenworth, Kansas area for 38 years. She is a National Certified Master Groomer, Certified Canine Esthetician and award winning industry educator.
Barb has been interviewed by and written articles for national and industry publications to include Scotgroom Training in Lanuke Scotland, Veterinary Practice News, First For Woman magazine, Groomer to Groomer magazine and Professional Groomer Magazine.
She has traveled coast to coast sharing her knowledge as an industry educator and produces an annual continuing education conference.
She was nominated for Cardinal Crystal's Outstanding Contribution to the Industry in 2005 and 2006. She was honored to receive the award in 2007. Barb was a Barkleigh Honor Award Nominee in 2011 and 2014, Her book The Difficult Dog won the Barkleigh Honor for Book of the Year in 2018.
Barb's passion is in behavior work and working with young dogs and those that just need a little help to learn that grooming does not have to be a scary experience. Her methods and skill set have turned many dogs deemed ungroomable into dogs that drag their owners into the salon.
She currently shares her home with two senior Standard Poodles, a Doberman and a feisty little Toy Poodle that rules the roost.
What is mobile pet grooming?
With mobile pet grooming, I bring the salon to you! I have a fully self contained grooming trailer. All I need is 2-3 level parking spaces on the street in front of your house. I have heated water tanks for a comfortable warm bath and a generator for electricity.

Pricing
Weight Limit 30 lbs
Prices start at $85 for a small dog under 15 lbs. Final price is determined based on size, coat type, condition, trim style and behavior.
All dogs are required to be on a 4 week schedule.
Cat grooming is not available.
